THE BAND
Daniel Tortoledo is a Venezuelan/American singer-songwriter currently based in Vienna, Austria. With a sound that channels the energy of icons like The Kinks, David Bowie, The Beatles, Blur, and The Strokes, Daniel knows how to captivate an audience. After leaving New York City in 2022, he quickly made a splash in Vienna’s music scene with his powerhouse band, The Sound Machine – Joost Scheltes (guitar/vocals), Gabriel Espinal (bass), and Alex Kühmayer (drums). Through his music, Daniel weaves stories of resilience, self-discovery, and pure joy, blending Americana warmth with a bold, multicultural edge.

LATEST RELEASE
The band has just recorded and released a live album titled, “Gürtel Nights Vol.1”, which reflects the group’s raw and distinctive live energy on stage. With a new year ahead the band is excited to share with the world a new collection of music, a new EP and a full length studio album already produced and completed which will be released throughout the year. On top of this The Sound Machine is currently writing and arranging new material and will be ready to hit the studio for new music to be recorded in the summer.
